Jeff DiLavore has been a registered nurse since 1995 who relocated to South Florida from Long Island, New York in January 2022. A former firefighter and paramedic who has specialized in emergency medicine since 1988, he has worked in several Level I and Level II trauma centers on Long Island, in New York City, Washington DC, North Carolina and Florida. As a Board-Certified Emergency and a Trauma Certified Nurse with multiple critical care certifications, he has been involved with emergency service responses to fires, accidents, catastrophic storms, mass casualty incidents and civil unrest. He worked as an emergency department RN in the epicenter of the Covid 19 arrival in the New York City area in early 2020, and most recently, worked as the Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator for both trauma centers in Palm Beach County, Florida from 2022-2024. He is currently working in a busy emergency department in Broward County.
